Signature moves

  • pencil-sketch

The picture is sketched first: horizon/construction line (light), main contours, then details.

  • wash-bloom

Pigment spreads from the centre of each area; the edge stays darker as it 'dries'. Washes deliberately overrun the pencil.

  • glaze

Overlapping washes multiply into a third colour — at most one glaze overlap per picture.

  • ink-bleed

Titles and body appear like ink touching damp paper.

  • note-write

Pencil notes write on in steps after the washes start.

  • paper-flood

Scene change: clean water floods in from the left with a pigment rim, covers the page, the scene swaps, then the water evaporates as the next sketch begins.

Sound

Acoustic and intimate: solo piano, cello or fingerpicked guitar, light field ambience (birds, wind). Tender, not sad.

Voice

Warm storyteller, close and soft, ≈130 wpm; reads like a letter. Let sentences end before the next wash blooms.
